Thank you Apron gods!

So ladies, I have found something truly amazing! Well, I think it is truly amazing! So, I have been secretly totally envious of Christie's Heavenly Hostess apron that she won and can't stop thinking about. Than out of the blue, my sister sent me a link to a girl who makes aprons and really cute ones at that. I clicked on the link and this is what I saw,

Now, this isn't the great part! This lady is going to make a pattern of this apron and is going to sell it or have it as a free download on her blog for all to hold and share! I am dying! And there is more good news, she is looking for pattern testers to help out to see if the pattern is user friendly! Who better to test patterns than the us Apronistas? I can't think of anyone. We can all be as lucky and beautiful as Christie in her adorable apron! I can't wait! Click here for more details! I just had to share this good news with everyone!

That's so funny that you mention that one, because I just had someone message me that they were looking for a pattern like the heavenly hostess one, and I had saved the link to send to you and post on the apronista blog...great minds, right Jill?? : )

Would you be interested in testing the pattern? I would be honored to have an Apronista among the testers! Currently it's in PDF format and the large pattern sheet (25 x38) will have to be printed off at your local print shop. I'm looking to have any comments and suggestions back by Dec. 19, as I'd like to have the pattern ready to send to the printer before Christmas. Let me know by sending me an email at mbhpatterns@gmail.com.

YAHOOOOO!!! I contacted Meg about the HH apron that Jill has posted a picture of. She emailed me the info for the pattern. I will print it out tomorrow and have it ready for our Wednesday night gathering for anyone who wants to give it a try. She wants feedback by the 19th - so this might be a really fun project!

Oh my heavens, oh my heavenly hostess heavens. How exciting for our humble little group. Thanks Maren for getting on the ball with this, on top of everything else that you are doing this Christmas season. I figured if a pattern can get approved by out group as usable than it would be perfect for anyone else, and this will be a great way for you to test out the mad skills of your new sewing machine! How exciting!

Yay! I'm so excited that you all are on board! Please please please email me (one and all) to give me any tips or suggestions! (mbhpatterns@gmail.com) Also - it would be awesome if you could document the pattern testing process with photos - I would love to do a story about your group over at my blog!

I'm so excited, this is the apron pattern I have been waiting forever for! I made Ty take the attachment to the printer they use for their construction plans to print it out and I guess they got a good laugh out of it. Boys...geesh! But I just shrieked with delight when he came home with it, oh the excitement! I can't wait to hear all about the candy making night and how the pattern goes for all of you! We will have to exchange experiences!
